The club have not won the league since the 1960’s and have spent a few season in lower leagues but returned to Serie A for the 2008-9 season finishing 17th in the league.

Bologna have released their new home jerseys for the 2009-10 season where they will be hoping they can improve on their low finish last season. Bologna finished just above the relegation zone last time around but will be hoping they can get a further from the drop zone this time.

The Bologna home soccer shirt is one of the most recognisable in Italy due to the red and blue stripes which gives the club it’s nickname Rossoblu meaning red-blues. The current Bologna home kit is manufactured by Macron with their logo appearing in the centre of the shirt just below the collar with the club badge on the left chest.
